A simple sponge cake ('Kex so vishni' - sponge with cherries) baked in a large tray and topped with drained cherries and their juice.
Beat the eggs with the sugar.
Add the flour and the baking powder.
Grease the tray with butter and flour it, size 40 x 35.
Arrange the drained cherries on top.
Pour 1-2 spoons of the cherry juice over the top.
Bake at 175°C for 15-18 minutes.
